"Negativity. Pessimism. And the crap coming out of your mouth."

As luck would have it, I picked a good day to start blogging again.

Here's some honest-to-goodness streamed audio of a Premier going ape-shit, live on radio. From earlier today.

It's good to be back.

Good to have you back - and things haven't changed much, have they...

All I could think of when I listen to that spot of the Premier is, what an ignorant bully.

He doesn't accept the media's right to ask questions and raise issues, even in the glow of an admittedly great announcement for the province. He ruins it with his defensive psychology.

What makes it worse is his defenders and arse-lickers all over the open line tonight, defending him and slagging off Randy Simms.

I fear for our province when public debate and comment are choked off so rudely.

Yes. And the downside to swelling government coffers is that the arse-licking will augment proportionally.

Many of them reading the very short talking points which they'd been issued.

Someone learned their lesson after a Joe Schmoe called in a little while back, prefixed his comments with, "now, no one told me to call in and tell you this!", and then read, clumsily, from the praise-filled paper he'd been told to call in and read out to the masses assembled around their tube-filled appliances.
